Fall Soccer 2009

This year we started a new school, and then to top everything off I decided to enroll Cade in Soccer. I felt bad because we missed the Spring soccer sign ups last year. So our crazy schedule was even crazier during the first couple weeks of school. However; Cade loves soccer and has a natural talent. He loves to kick the ball hard, and then let someone else take over. He was definitely the star of the team.

He is still just an eight year old and this picture is such a typical behavior of all eight year olds! Cade's favorite position is forward and goally. He ran constantly for an hour and by the time we were done he was exhausted.

Cade had no problem telling the other players on his team how to play the game. He is such a natural, and was great!

Aaron was a good sport and attended every game. However he at times had to entertain himself, and found all types of creative ways to entertain himself.

Our Newest Addition!

After a full thirty days of Cade working hard to keep his room clean and months of waiting, Cade finally got his puppy. A little Shih Tzu. Cade wanted a dog that he could hold, cuddle and love, so this is what we decided would be best for our family. He is very cute, now we just need to decide on a name.

Golden Spike, We Cannot Forget CRAIG!

Golden Spike

This year we decided to share some history with our children, and we took them to the Golden Spike reenactment. The park was having a special reenactment which features a variety of other activities and games for the kids. We had a great time playing games, walking around the exhibits and getting a history lesson from Dad. Because of the celebration we were even allowed to climb inside the trains, very cool!

Aaron, as always, did not like the loud noises and had his ears folded over the entire time.

This was one of the many games that we could enjoy. Pushing the cart was harder than it looks, but very efficient.
