Craig's Parents
Dear Birthparents,
We currently have 13 grandchildren and cannot wait to meet the newest addition, but as excited as we are, our anticipation is nothing compared to what Craig and Tamra are feeling. Craig and Tamra are loving and affectionate towards each other and their sons, their nieces and nephews and Suzie (Beagle).
Craig is a son any parent would be proud of. He is courageous in the face of life’s overwhelming difficulties and has an innate sense of self worth and fosters confidence and stability. He has a close, loving relationship with his sisters and brother and watches over Tamra, Cade and little Aaron like ‘a hen with one chick’ to quote his father. We have always been a ‘water’ family, participating in water sports with the children when they were growing up, boating, skiing, swimming, therefore, Craig loves them and swims like a fish. Craig never takes his eyes off Tamra and their children whenever they are in the water. Family comes first with Craig. He takes care of his own. He is an excellent father.
Craig and Tamra have a relationship that allows each the freedom to grow and develop within the marriage both independently and as a couple. They nurture Cade and Aaron in the same manner as they guide, guard, yet encourage them to find that unique individual each of us is born to be. Having Craig as a father offers a myriad of opportunities to sample just about everything life has to offer. He has been an adventurer without a trace of fear I might add (which certainly increased our supply of gray hairs), since the day he learned to walk—conversing with the neighbors on the working of their lawn mowers or which polish to use on the car. There is not a shy bone in his body. The thought never crossed his mind from the age of two on that the man next door or the helicopter pilot in the terminal wouldn’t be delighted to exchange ideas on any subject. Craig came to us with maturity beyond his years and we love and admire him more than words can express.
Craig and Tamra are anxiously praying and attempting to patiently wait for the precious little spirit to come into their home. My husband and I want you to know that if you should decide that your baby is to be placed in their home—he or she will grow to adulthood in an atmosphere of quiet peace and taught to love you as the birthmother who made an indescribable sacrifice for the welfare of her child. None of us will ever know what it cost you. We can only use that inadequate phrase—‘thank you’—from the bottom of our hearts.
With all our love

Tamra's Parents
Dear Birthparents,
We would like to write you this letter to tell you a little about ourselves. We hope to be the grandparents of a beautiful little boy or girl. Our family is a large one consisting of five living children and one deceased baby boy. We have three married children and 13 grandchildren.
Children have always been the most important priority in our lives. We have always done everything together as a family from family bike rides and picnics, to vacations together. Our family has strong spiritual roots and values. We believe in education and have always expected our children to do their very best in school and anything they undertake. We have always believed in trying to teach our children correct principles then letting them make their own choices.
We would like to share a little about our daughter and son-in-law. They both are people of utmost integrity and honesty. They have a deep love for children. From the time our daughter was a little girl and through her teenage years, she expressed the desire to have children. She is a caring loving person that has always placed others needs before her own. As parents, we always had to be very careful not to take advantage of this trait and expect too much from her. Not that she was an angel, but looking over the past several years, I cannot remember hardly any time she raised her voice in anger. She is a gentle soul with a deep concern for others. We are very happy to get the chance to share this with you, as we know she would not tell this on her own.
Tamra and Craig have two adopted sons and were given this blessing when they were only days old. Every time we visited their home we noticed that Cade and Aaron never quit smiling. We came to the conclusion that it was because Tamra never quit smiling from the moment she brought them home. Tamra has given us so much joy and she now gives her heart to her sons. Any child in their home would grow knowing that he or she would have parents that will give total love and protection.
We wish we could say we know what you are going through in making this decision, but we can not because we have not had to make this hard choice. However, we truly admire the strength and courage you show by choosing what you feel is best for your child. May God be with you and comfort you at this time.
Love,
Grandma and Grandpa (Tamra’s parents)
